Graffiti Dragonflies and Giraffe Designs Table Leg or Spindle Dragonflies and Butterfly

I have a few new dragonflies to share. 

This one was from an order for a graffiti inspired dragonfly and butterfly.

My customer had seen this Funky Graffiti Dragonfly

I had made a while back and wanted something similar.

I'm calling it graffiti but I really made this one to look like an old

painted sign that was cut up for the wings...

The eyes are a rusted metal swirled hook I had and I 

just straightened out the hook part...

This is the coordinating butterfly I made...

she wanted the large antenna on both of them

Fun multi color painted wings...

I added pieces of vintage license plates to the body

I embedded a vintage flat head screwdriver in the tail,

I thought this was such a funky little tool, loved the shape

and I gave it a coat of red spray paint

The eyes are little button faces that I've used in other dragonflies,

they went perfectly with this butterfly

I also made another Giraffe Dragonfly...

It has a metal key at the tail...

Aged metal pieces on the body and for the eyes...

and the hand painted giraffe print wings.
